Lecture360™
Why do we still need to be physically present in lecture rooms in this day and age? For films, shows and original content we already watch the things that we want, whenever we want, wherever we want with the power of the internet. Why shouldn't this be the same for our education and the lectures that go along with it? There are indeed recorded lectures online but if you have ever had the displeasure of using them, you will remember how awful their image and audio quality was. Also, oftentimes the camera operator forgets to follow the lecturer when they moved on to another part of the room. Surely there has to be a better way to follow lectures online.
To solve the issues described above I want to introduce you to Lecture360™. Why try to film only a small portion of the lecture hall when you can record it all. Lecture360™ uses Virtual Reality (VR) technology to record the entire lecture room at once allowing you to decide where to place your attention. You will be able to watch these videos in your internet browser, your Google Cardboard, your Oculus Rift or any other VR headset. It gives the control back to your eyes. Giving you the ability to be in class, with all the advantages of not having to attend it. Virtual Reality cameras are already making their way to the consumer market. And popular social media platforms such as YouTube and Facebook already have the ability to stream these 360 degree videos to your devices. Combining all of these technologies into a lecture streaming service is an incredible opportunity for any university. Creating a digital platform for lectures to be watched by students of the respective universities or to be shared or sold globally in an unprecedented style and approach.

Interesting concept. I would not necessarily promote that you do not have to attend a lecture (no valuable interaction), but universities have an opportunity to provide courses to student around the globe. Could you work on a business case for this?
